```Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Activity Assistant to join our team. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities. Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of recreational activities for residents
- Lead group activities such as games, crafts, exercise classes, and outings
- Provide one-on-one support to residents who may need additional assistance
- Encourage resident participation and engagement in activities
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for residents

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of aging issues, including dementia care and memory care
- Familiarity with assisted living and senior care services
- Understanding of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
- Experience in counseling or social work is a plus
- Certification in recreational therapy or related field is beneficial

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with residents
- Creativity and the ability to develop engaging activities for individuals and groups
- Patience and empathy when working with seniors who may have physical or cognitive limitations
- Ability to work well within a team environment
