COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Lotus Behavioral Health is renewing and restoring wholeness to individuals and their families impacted by substance abuse and mental health disorders. We achieve this through providing thorough substance abuse and mental health assessments, Individualized Treatment, and Family involvement.  Outpatient and intensive outpatient therapy services are available for adults and levels of care for adolescents range from Residential treatment through outpatient treatment.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Activities and Life Skills coordinator is to interact with the clients (adolescents). In this role the person needs to be a positive role model. The Activities and Life Skills coordinator will develop and create activities that are fun and interactive.  The Activities and Life Skills coordinator must be compassionate and understand what these kids are going through. The person who is in this role, will teach lifetime skills that the clients (adolescents) can use in their everyday life.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

• Develop, disseminate, and implement the monthly calendar of activities.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor participation in community outings, and special events.
• Provide quality recreational, therapeutic, social, and informative activities.
• Provide a safe, stimulating, and fun-filled day.
• Motivate clients and promote client interaction.
• Supervise volunteers and execution of activities.
• Provide care to clients within the daily routine.
• Coordinate all transportation, food, and staffing needed for every activity.
• Remain in contact with all volunteers to maintain engagement in supporting the mission of Lotus Behavioral Health.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two years of experience working with kids/ adolescents or in event planning.
• Innovative.
• A creative person who can bring fun and engaging experiences to our clients and staff.
• An innovative contributor who can ensure activities are purposeful, meaningful, and stimulating activities.
• An energetic creative and professional individual who will portray and promote a positive, respectful, and team-based environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the program.

PAY:
$17.00-$18.00 hourly
