Are you interested in learning how a children’s manuscript develops into a book? Our paid part-time internship for Summer 2024 is ideal for current students and recent grads with an interest in children’s and young adult publishing.
The Tyndale Kids and Wanderacquisitions internwill gain valuable experience by assisting the Tyndale Kids and Wander Team in conducting market research, evaluating the viability of new projects, and collaborating on publishing pitches. It will give you an opportunity to work closely with a team of acquisitions editors to learn the trade. Strong research and critical thinking skills, along with the ability to write clearly and persuasively, are required. Candidates will need excellent computer skills with a knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). They should be able to express editorial judgment when reviewing manuscripts and when researching the Christian publishing market. A knowledge of the Bible and general Christian values is also required.
The person hired for this internship will work part-time in the Hendrickson office in Peabody, Massachusetts.
