Position Overview:

Team LeadStakeholder Engagement Specialists work as part of a team to support the Office of Chief Procurement Officer's needs to provide coaching, awareness, and training of acquisition processes, lifecycle execution to various program and acquisition staff by:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction, coaching, and training on various acquisition processes and topics to program officials and federal acquisition staff.

  • Become familiar with pre-existing course materials and be able to teach the course to the acquisition workforce.

  • Perform in-depth strategic-level research and analysis to support recommendations for new training, awareness, and coaching topics/materials.

  • Support Stakeholder Engagement for the identification of new training topics and provide recommendations on acquisition best practices and lessons learned to improve acquisition processes within FEMA.

  • Provide and conduct training, awareness, and coaching engagements using a variety of training mediums, including in-person and virtual/net-conferences, presentations, videos, and interactive modules.

  • Develop new training material/content using a variety of training mediums.

  • Support awareness of acquisition policy and procedures by maintaining accuracy and availability of content on available collaboration platforms, such as SharePoint sites.

  • Oversee the onboarding of new team members to ensure they are equipped to successfully perform their job(s).

  • Responsible for the performance management of team members, including providing ongoing feedback, coaching, goal setting, delivering formal performance reviews, and team building.

  • Delegate work assignments to team members, as needed, and provide quality control for work products.

  • Work with the Program Manager and Human Resources to support hiring for any team openings, including approving position descriptions, interviewing candidates, completing evaluations, and making hiring recommendations.

  • Monitor timekeeping of team members, approve all timesheets.

  • Regularly check in with the Manager to report team status updates or escalate any risks or issues; serve as a liaison between the PM and team members; prepare any contractually mandated or manager-requested reporting materials for the team (i.e., monthly deliverable reports, annual performance metrics, etc.).

  • Identify, develop, and apply industry best practices and standards to the execution and delivery of work products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • 8+ years of experience

  • FAC-C or DAWIA Level certification or equivalent desired

  • U.S. Citizenship required
