The role you'll contribute:
Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Provides credentialed Clinical Pastoral Education supervision for adult student chaplains. Provides consistent and credentialed spiritual care services to patients, their families, and staff. Ministry Education customers are ministers who become interns, residents, or Certified Educator students, community clergy, seminarians and lay leaders who access our educational programs and resources we make available for continuing and professional vocational educational opportunities.
The value you'll bring to the team:
Supervises intensive units and extended/part-time units of CPE as negotiated.
Develop, coordinate, and supervise curriculum (classroom and clinical) for CPE Units
Participates in the screening, interviewing, assignment of responsibilities and evaluation of CPE Students
Assures that all Educator responsibilities are completed in accordance with the ACPE Standards
Serves as a learning ministry resource for CPE and all AdventHealth spiritual care contexts.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed
Master of Divinity degree or 72-hour graduate degree in theology, religious education, or related field.
Minimum of 4 Clinical Pastoral Education units as required in the ACPE Certification process.
Pastoral Formation demonstrated through mature pastoral identity, self-awareness, and ability to self-supervise.
Certification as an ACPE Certified Educator by ACPE, Inc.
Endorsement by recognized faith tradition
