Are you a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills? Our client in Chelsea is seeking an energetic Office Administrator to work in their Billing Department. The company has an excellent benefits package to include Medical, Dental, PTO, Short-term and Long-term, and Life Insurance.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Flexible Hours between 9:00AM - 5:00PM - Total of 20-30 hours WEEKLY
Compensation: $23.00-$28.00 depending on experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Primary Accounts Receivable Contact handling all billing; local and line haul invoices; 30-45-and 60 day follow up; reach out to customers both via phone and email.
- Updating invoice charges; mailing and emailing monthly invoicing; provide back up invoicing to trucking and export department.
- Weekly account payable responsibilities: managing accounts, taking customer inquiries; filing paid invoices and manage payment terms.
- Reconcile all incoming checks and ACH payments with correct invoice.
- Create and submit timecards
- Follow up with other departments on new hires and terminations.
- Take minutes during management meetings
- Order and organize all office supplies
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of office administrative/accounting experience
- Will need to have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Accounting Software: Small Business Manager
- Great verbal communication and written skills is a must
- Willingness to cross-train
