The primary purpose of the Accreditation Specialist is to promote safe, high quality and effective patient care through establishment and maintenance of accreditation, certification, and licensure compliance of all facilities. The Accreditation Specialist will provide expert consultation and guidance for continual survey readiness to all markets (Urgent Care Association & Rural Health Clinic). This role will support clinics in MS, AL, & LA with travel 75% of the time. You will be provided with a company car and credit card to cover travel costs.

  • Ability to research, collect, organize, interpret, and communicate information from multiple sources to assess the degree of compliance with the applicable accreditation guidelines
  • Ability to objectively assess clinic/organization performance
  • Ability to analyze survey findings to provide conclusions, recommendations, and feedback on how to become and remain compliant with accreditation standards.
  • Monitors on an ongoing basis compliance level with standards, recommends activities and documentation to eliminate noncompliance.
  • Attends and participates in all accreditation related meetings and projects
  • Organizes and participates in readiness assessments in preparation for accreditation survey
  • Participates in the development and distribution of accreditation best practices
  • Provide regular report to leadership on status of accreditation readiness
  • Supports the Director of Accreditation in managing regulatory and accreditation compliance initiatives.
  • Identifies major phases, implementation steps, timelines, resource needs and potential obstacles or issues for escalation.
  • Assists in managing development of tools, learning aids, standard reports, and monitoring plans to promote compliance with standards.

  • Degree in Nursing or Business or equivalent work experience in healthcare

  • 3+ years’ experience managing projects and to include remote management experience


Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
