Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented  Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team in Boise, ID. In this role, we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and can provide professionalism to internal and external clients. We are also looking for someone who can handle changes and has a can-do attitude.

General Responsibilities for AR Manager:

• Set objectives for the Accounts Receivable team that align with the accounting department.
• Monitors, reviews, and verifies accounting records.
• Organize records of invoices, bills and deposits.
• Ensure high-quality invoicing and collection procedures that comply with the law.
• Review transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and adequacy of supporting documentation.
• Maintains financial records and ensures financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Ensures compliance with internal policies, agency rules and regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Reviews and analyzes reports for accuracy before distribution.
• Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, vendors, and others courteously and professionally.
• Clarifies or research issues, as necessary.
• Work with the CFO to ensure all team members follow the accounting principles.
• Performs other related accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications for AR Manager:

• Education: bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or related/equivalent field.
• Experience 5 years in accounting or related field.
• A/P invoice processing, discrepancy resolution
• A/P payment processing
• Sage 100 a plus

Skills for AR Manager:

• Excel in effective and positive communications (verbal and written) upward, downward, and laterally.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Excels in organizational skills and a high value on time management skills.
• Experience with electronic filing systems
• Strong with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, MS Excel, and Sage 100.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Confidentiality and integrity are a must.

Work Environment:

• Able to sit for long periods of time.
• Lift up to 25 lbs.
• Call and speak professionally to internal and external clients on collections.
