Form of workWe are looking for a highly motivated Accounts Receivable professional, with strong problem-solving skills, and who can work diligently and accurately in a fast-paced AR department. Applicant will be responsible for collecting outstanding receivables, as well as tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues for assigned customer accounts. The applicant will display a strong ability to prioritize and multitask, as well as be an exceptionally strong and professional communicator, as he or she will frequently deal with both customers and higher levels of management. Applicant will exhibit a self-starting work ethic and take-charge attitude, as he or she will need to reconcile discrepancies, take ownership for processes assigned, and generally ensure that the Accounts Receivable assigned are kept in order.
Minimum Requirements
Experience and qualifications required:
- Minimum of 2 years' Accounts Receivable experience
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent communication skills, both written (email) and verbal (telephone)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with especially strong Excel skills
- Extremely detail oriented, with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of an Associate degree preferred, Bachelor's degree heavily preferred, in a relevant course of study/major
