We are looking for a driven Accounts Payable Specialist to join our amazing finance team. Our ideal candidate has experience in the architecture, engineering or construction management industries, as well as experience with our accounting system, Deltek Vantagepoint. With meticulous attention to detail, the A/P Specialist will reconcile purchase orders, receipts, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. An understanding of construction project dynamics, familiarity with industry-specific regulations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of the A/P Specialist on our finance team.

What You Will Do

  • Document, code, route, review, and voucher invoices and contracts payable.
  • Review and process employee expense reports.
  • Prepare and perform payment runs.
  • Document, code, and voucher cash receipts.
  • Create and maintain vendor, payable, disbursement, and cash receipt records.
  • Create, maintain, and file 1099s.
  • Participate as needed in month-end close review and adjustments related to payables, prepaids, fixed assets, and operating expenses.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree related to accounting and/or finance preferred.
  • Architecture, Engineering or Construction industry experience is ideal.
  • Deltek Vantagepoint and/or Concur strongly preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $22.75/hr up to $31.50/hr. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
