Iron Horse Terminals was formed in 2017. It is a rail yard and heavy industrial park which has a wide variety of businesses operating on it.
About the role
The accounting assistant will work directly with the CFO and perform accounting functions: invoicing, payroll, bill entry, reports, etc. for both the core business and a couple of other smaller businesses associated with Iron Horse. Additionally, the role will also work closely with Customer Service to assist in providing information to Customers. Iron Horse is a family-owned business that is growing and evolving so the role will change with time.
Responsibilities
- Will work in QuickBooks- experience in QuickBooks is not necessary
- Excel reporting for invoicing support and to monitor daily operations
- Accounts Payable Entry
- Reviewing accuracy and completeness of documents and information related to Rail Car Maintenance.
- Assist Customer Service Manager by loading appropriate information into customer portals.
Location & commitments
- 11800 Hwy 90 in Beaumont, TX
- Can be flexible with hours, but preferably work between 8-5 M-F
