Accounting Supervisor
Assists the Fiscal Department with various accounting and fiscal affairs of the agency while complying with approved agency policies. Maintains confidentiality regarding status of individuals or matters pertaining to the administrative function of the agency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Accounting or 10 years accounting experience with BS degree in another field required.
- Must have intermediate IT/IS knowledge.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Must possess a valid Oklahoma Drivers License
- Must be able to pass OSBI, MVR, DHS Registry Check and any other background checks as agency requires or deems necessary.
SUPERVISES: Accounting Assistants
RESPONSIBILITIES – Essential Functions:
- Oversight accounts payable and assist where needed
- Manage month-end close
- Prepare weekly federal contracts hours reports
- Prepare and submit federal contracts sales invoices
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Review general ledger for appropriate classification in accordance with federal grants and funding sources
- Fixed asset and designated funds accounting
- Monthly bank account reconciliations
- Monthly general ledger account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly budget/financial reports and provide analysis
- Assist with annual financial audit
- Prepare and submit quarterly SourceAmerica ERS and QER reports
- Prepare annual unclaimed property report
- Respond to ad hoc reporting requests
- Assist with payroll as needed
- Assist on various data entry as needed
- Assist with department operations manual updates
- Assist on projects when needed
