QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience with strong accounting skills with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a business office environment required.
* Demonstrated experience reconciling budgets of large financial accounts required.
* Demonstrated experience developing and understanding complex spreadsheets.
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Google Sheets, and Excel with the ability to create complex formulas and spreadsheets with accuracy.
* Possess superior detail-oriented organizational skills, able to self-manage and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while exhibiting outstanding customer service skills.

SALARY/PAYGRADE:
$33,178 - CP5
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Create and maintain Title I budget spread sheets for 61 Title I campuses and the district.
* Monitor school and district Title I budgets to be sure that accounts are not overdrawn.
* Monthly reconciliation of 36-million-dollar budget.
* Maintain files and records in preparation of possible audit of Elementary and Secondary Educational Act mandates.
* Prepare, send and process all Title I purchase orders, consultant forms, reimbursements, travel forms and conference fee request.
* Process all Title I-funded extra duty and temporary worker timesheets and substitute forms.
* Communicate with schools regarding budgets and spending procedures.
* Verify receipt of all materials purchased with Title I funds across the district.
* Communicate with vendors regarding materials, shipping, grant specifications and problems.
* Communicate regularly with the finance department regarding the district's roll forward, application and amendments.
* Communicate regularly with payroll regarding Title I payments.
* Assist the Director of Federal Programs & Grants in the budget preparation of the monthly Title I District meetings.
* Assist the Title I coach and the Director of Federal Programs & Grants in the processing of summer staff development, contracts, conference certificates and travel reimbursements as it relates to Title I.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Federal Programs & Grants.
