This leading the accounting team and being a hands-on manager with ownership of the general ledger, financial consolidation, billings, receivables, asset management, treasury, audit management, financial reporting, and any other aspect of accounting not mentioned. This position will partner with the Accounting Services Manager to ensure seamless accounting leadership and other functional leadership across Pacteon. This role will also be involved in supporting all M&A diligence and integration activities along with preparation of all investor reporting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Accounting & Controllership:General Accounting: Ensures all accounting and general ledger activities (accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, payroll, fixed assets, project ledger, inventory/cost accounting, travel and expense, tax, etc.) are managed in accordance with US GAAP and local policies. Month End: Responsible for managing month end process with a robust checklist ensuring books are closed, reconciled and reported on per established guidelines. Consolidation: Responsible for consolidation of all subsidiary companies across Pacteon and implementation of a consolidation software tool. Billing & Receivables: Supports billing and receivables for each BU and supports workloads of team when needed. Cost Accounting / Inventory: Responsible for all cost accounting and supporting inventory management across Pacteon companies. Treasury: Responsible for daily cash management and local bank relationships. Reporting: Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of financial results inclusive of bank reporting. Other: Manages financial audits, statutory audits, tax filings, insurance, and other projects or activities as needed that impact the accounting or controlling function of the organization.Leadership:Leads the accounting team and ensures all team member have proper support, direction, communication, goals, and development objectives. Learns and uses EOS Traction model to lead the team. Partners with Accounting Services Manager to ensure seamless accounting between groups.Partners with Finance & Accounting leadership across Pacteon to ensure consolidation, reporting, and other activities are coordinated and managed seamlessly. Partners with Pacteon leadership and functional leadership to provide support and information as required.Builds relationships with all third parties to ensuring strong support as required. Mergers & AcquisitionsSupport all transaction activities and business integration activities. Supports all lendersInvestor & Lender Support Lead collection of financial and non-financial data for investor and lender presentations. Prepare presentations and information that is effective in communicating business performance and trends.
