We are currently in need of a Accounting Manager to work in our fast-paced construction environment. The position will report to the Controller with responsibilities supporting CECO’s Operations Center based Finance and Accounting department.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee corporate travel and purchase card programs.
- Oversee lease accounting and balances.
- Review Cash Balances and Reconciliation for completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare Monthly Financial Reporting Packages.
- Assist in deployment of D365 ERP.
- Communicate key accounting information effectively.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts along with other month end tasks.
- Works within the Organization to perform duties as assigned.
- Interact with all internal and external customers in a professional manner.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 year Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field and a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical problem solver with the ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, interpersonal.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and relevant accounting software experience.
- Proficient in D365 or similar Accounting systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accounting or Exam Ready.
- Experience with recording cash transactions and a working knowledge of banking practices.
- Knowledge of Construction industry concepts and practices including AIA progress billing and Retention receivables.
