Position Overview:

As the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP to provide accurate and timely financial information to management.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets, as well as assist in forecasting future financial performance.

3. Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

4. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk, providing recommendations for improvement.

5. Tax Compliance: Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

6. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

7. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance accounting processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.

2. Certification: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.

3. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, with a proven track record of leadership.

4. GAAP Knowledge: Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

6. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

7. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
