As a Cloud Accounting Manager, you will be a key leader in our Accounting Services team, overseeing and optimizing the Cloud Accounting processes for our customers. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and innovation of our accounting operations in the cloud. Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and Team Management
• Provide leadership to the junior members of the Accounting Services team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Oversee daily operations of your customers, ensuring the team meets deadlines and delivers high-quality service to customers.
• Cloud Accounting Operations
• Oversee the daily and weekly cloud-based bookkeeping tasks, including AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and other financial transactions for your assigned customers.
• Implement and optimize Cloud Accounting software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Financial Reporting
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial reports for customers.
• Utilize advanced analytics for performance assessments, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Customer Communication
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear and effective communication regarding their financial activities.
• Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Process Improvement
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation in Cloud Accounting operations.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the firm's Cloud Accounting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in a managerial role within accounting or finance.
• Proven experience in Cloud Accounting operations, utilizing platforms such as QuickBooks Online and Xero.
• Proficiency in Cloud Accounting software, with a strong emphasis on QuickBooks Online.
• Familiarity with HubDoc, Bill.com, Melio, and other cloud-based accounting tools.
• Successful management of workload for a team of accountants, to meet utilization goals.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing team.
• Effective communication skills, both with team members and customers.
• Proven ability to identify and solve complex financial issues, demonstrating a resolution-seeking mindset.
• Ability to adapt to evolving industry landscapes and technological advancements in Cloud Accounting.
• A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and value.
