The Accounting Manager will:
- Oversee the books and records of multiple corporate departments, including month-end closing entries, account and inter-company reconciliations, cash management, budgets, variance analysis and invoice coding
- Understand and assist in the preparation and ongoing support of various allocations to the operating entities
- Provide guidance and support for our consolidation reporting (Cognos / Planning & Analytics) and Fixed Asset Software (FAS) packages
- Assist with the facilitation and administration of the annual budget process
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare supporting schedules for internal and external (SEC) reporting
- Assist with various projects geared toward supporting the Finance Team, such as testing of corporate level Sox Controls such as compliance with our A/R reserve policy, counting of physical inventory, and other subsidiary support functions
- Perform and assist with other duties and special projects.
- 5+ years of Accounting
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- CPA
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
