Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement assigned accounting project
- Manage, train, and supervise the accounting team
- Ensure payroll processing accuracy and timely accounts payable reviews
- Oversee project accounting processes, including customer contract costs and accounts receivable
- Work with the CFO to ensure accounting processes comply with US Government Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Education: A 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or a related major
- Experience: At least 1 year in finance and accounting within the hospitality industry or a related professional area
- Technical Skills:
- MS Office: Competency in MS Office applications
- Databases: Familiarity with database management
- Bookkeeping and Accounting Software: Hands-on experience with spreadsheets, financial reports, and basic accounting procedures
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and word processing
- Multitasking and Communication: Ability to multitask, build relationships, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
