Under the supervision of the Controller, the Accounting Intern will support the accounting department with a variety of administrative and entry level accounting tasks This a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and to apply the concepts you have learned in the classroom.
This internship is available immediately and may last up to 6 months. The work schedule is flexible and will be agreed upon based on the intern's availability and business needs. This is not a remote position and requires work in the office.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have completed introductory accounting courses and have a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
- Strong computer skills utilizing Word and Excel.
- Must be detailed and organized with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to successfully complete the company's pre-employment process including a criminal background check, drug test and post-offer basic physical.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Recent graduates who have completed their degree in one of the above fields are also eligible to apply.
- Experience using Sage 100 software.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform general accounting and administrative duties including research, filing, data entry, and record keeping.
- Assist with accounting entries.
- Support month-end closing processes.
- Assist with reconciliations and invoice handling.
- Contribute to ad hoc accounting projects as needed.
