If you're interested in financial and data analysis tools and techniques to generate, analyze, report, and interpret financial and other data used across the Bank, our Accounting Data Analyst I role may be for you! We invite you to consider joining our Accounting Systems team.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize data extraction and report writing software to access data to analyze and provide information that is timely, accurate, and visually appealing.
- Provide support to senior management and other departments by collecting and analyzing financial data and other key metrics.
- Identify trends and recommend enhancements to existing reports.
- Prepare accounting entries for accounting systems.
- Identify, research, recommend and implement new alternatives to increase productivity.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Data Analytics preferred
- 0-2 years' experience in accounting or report writing preferred
- CPA, CMGA, CFA certifications are beneficial
- Familiarity with the Core Processing System
- Familiarity with report writing tools, such as Cognos, IBM Query
- Strong data analytical skills such as pivot table and advance excel formulas
- Interest and ability to learn new applications
