- Role: Accounting Clerk
- Location: Chicago, IL - onsite (Brighton Park area)
- Pay: $22/hr.
- Duration: Contract to hire
- Hours: 8:30 a- 5:00p Monday - Friday
- Use of account software and specified computer applications including Excel. Knowledge in the design and management of spreadsheet files and the development of special report formats.
- Reconcile invoices/settlement report and identify discrepancies.
- Payable and receivable aging report.
- Create and update expense reports.
- Bank and credit card reconciliation.
- Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards.
Skills
- Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with finance regulations
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel and various accounting software
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field preferred, not required
