We are currently searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our growing team!

JOB SUMMARY

The Accounting Associate will be responsible for assisting Account Managers with a wide array of financial and administrative tasks. This role is a great place to learn the nuances of business management and the music industry as a whole. This work includes day-to-day management of finance-related communications for clients and their teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about music and business, entrepreneurial in spirit, an excellent communicator, and highly motivated to join and contribute to a growing team of business professionals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Bookkeeping & data upkeep

• Generating financial reports and submitting for review

• Creating & overseeing tour budgets

• Processing client payroll

• Facilitating necessary insurance coverages

• Tracking income & royalty payments

• Gathering tax information

• The scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.

Education & Experience:

• Accounting coursework

• 1 year Music Business experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & double-sided accounting fundamentals

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Flexible Schedule:

• We are looking for someone who is self-reliant and motivated, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Working 100% remote/ from home or in the office, this position requires at least 40 hours per week, but more time is sometimes needed to fulfill responsibilities, especially during busy seasons. We are flexible in the way we manage time and schedules, based on client needs, and with an eye towards a healthy work-life balance.

Supplemental pay types:

• Guaranteed annual bonus with transparent revenue-based structure
• Commission available for business development
• Employee referral bonus
