BONNEY FORGE CORPORATION is currently seeking a qualified Accounting Assistant for our Mount Union facility.
This position is responsible for assisting in various areas of the accounting department. Daily job duties include processing customer invoices including adding freight charges, printing, verifying, processing customs paperwork, and completing various reports and analyses. Other functions will be to assist Accounts Payable with vouchering and processing vendor invoices for payment, month end close activities and resolving discrepancies.
The following knowledge is required: familiarity with clerical accounting practices, office procedures, managing files and records; ability to perform basic arithmetic computations with reasonable speed and accuracy; organizational skills is a must, ability to multi-task, communicate clearly, understand priorities, be accurate in verifying abilities and proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
Previous accounting experience preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position.
