Accounting and Payroll Specialist

Our client, a well-established manufacturing facility located in Commerce, Georgia, is looking for an Accounting and Payroll Specialist to join their wonderful team. This client just built a new facility with lots of windows, light, and bright colors. It is a cheerful, super clean, and beautiful workplace.

This hybrid role can be worked from your home office one day per week.

Our client is looking for someone to handle AP, AR, and Payroll. You will report to the CFO. It is not a super high volume role – 60 employees, 10-15 large customers, and approximately 100ish invoices processed in a given week. What is most important to them is finding an experienced candidate who has strong organizational skills, is process-oriented, wants to make sure things are done right, and is highly confidential. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accounts Payable

1. Receive and review invoices from vendors
2. Match documents, codes, and batches
3. Process payments to vendors
4. Handle incoming calls from vendors regarding payments

• Accounts Receivable

1. Process invoices (including uploads to the customers’ systems)
2. Receive payments and post amounts to customers’ accounts
3. Keep records of collections and status of accounts

• Payroll & Benefits

1. Run payroll using Paychex
2. Oversee benefits vendors and invoice payments
3. Be the point of contact for employee questions regarding their paychecks and benefits

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
• Previous experience with Paychex is a plus
• Previous experience with a manufacturing ERP system is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Operates with a high degree of confidentiality
• Team player who is helpful to others and has a customer service mindset

Compensation: Salary of $60-63,000 plus medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401k.
