Job Description:
The Finance and HR Administrator is responsible for managing company accounting and administrative human resources functions. The Accounting and HR Administrator maintains accurate accounting records and administers benefits offered to team members. Accounting responsibilities include preparation of invoices for services, managing accounts payable, bookkeeping responsibilities, bank reconciliations, cash flow management and administrative filings with state agencies. HR administrative functions include staff education and assistance navigating benefits and clerical changes to benefits, payroll and benefits plans.
Responsibilities:
- AR/AP responsibilities
- Expense tracking, bookkeeping and end of month reconciliations
- Cash flow management
- Payroll / Tax Preparation
- Administrative filings with state agencies
- Direct consultation with leadership team on finances
- Liaises with and supports team members in understanding and signing up for benefits packages
- Administration of benefits packages
- Other clerical responsibilities as necessary
Qualifications:
- Accounting or Finance Degree
- Previous experience managing accounting responsibilities/and or HR admin
- Experience with Quickbooks or similar accounting platforms
- Academic experience and/or professional interest in finance and HR fields
- Previous experience and demonstrated competencies with software and technology
