Accountant Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reconciling the company’s bank statements and general ledgers.
- Assisting in generating the company’s financial reports
- Managing loan, financial, and accounting software used by the company.
- Providing financial information by researching and analyzing accounting data.
- Preparing and entering GL entries by compiling and analyzing activity information.
- Performing internal auditing procedures.
- Securing financial information by completing database backups.
- Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Performs some payroll functions.
- Keeps digital and physical accounting records updated.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, Preferred.
- 0-2 years’ Experience in Accounting.
- Experience with Financial Reporting Requirements.
- Experience with Microsoft Applications.
- Knowledge of accounting Software.
- Data Entry and Data Management Skills.
- Research and Reporting Skills.
- Time Management Skills.
- Detailed and Deadline Oriented.
