Accountant - Senior.

Responsibilities:
??? Supports the Controller and collaborates with accounting team
??? Assists with preparing, maintaining, and analyzing financial statements
??? Assists with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and payroll and
taxes
??? Assists with maintaining documented system of accounting policies and procedures
??? Recommends benchmarks that will be used to measure the company???s performance
??? Assists with annual budget and forecasts; reporting significant budget differences
??? Supports aspects of General Ledger and journal entries
??? Tracking and analyzing data needed to manage costs
??? Collaborates with corporate offices
??? Preparing and assisting with external auditors and provides needed information for
annual audits
??? Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Prior experience working with QuickBooks.
Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Senior Accountant or similar position.
Degree in Accounting
2-4 years of experience
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized with exceptional time-management skills.
Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations.
