Job Summary:
The Corporate Staff Accountant is responsible for general accounting functions of the US based Shared Services Center.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily and monthly bank account reconciliations for US and Canada
- Prepare assigned balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare assigned month-end calculations and corresponding journal entries
- Responsible for the accounting and processing of US rebates and royalties
- Lead the Annual Customer and Vendor Scrub process for the Americas
- Submit intercompany debit and credit memos as needed
- Responsible for VA reporting and payment
- Responsible for deferred education and deferred CA coupon accounting
- Calculate return and exchange portion of the US and CA return reserve
- Calculate quarterly product recall reserve
- Supports audit requests for GL and Banking
- Complete ad-hoc projects and requests as required
- Other accounting duties and projects as assigned

Education/Experience Requirements
- A.A. or B.S. in accounting/finance or related field required.
- Entry level up to 5 years of related experience.
