ABOUT THIS POSITION
The Accountant III in the ERP Division will assist in the preparation of the Central Service Cost Allocation plan and Provision plan reports.
Essential duties include:
  • Preparing various rates and charges.
  • Creating and updating costing master data.
  • Answering various department costing inquiries.
  • Creating and maintaining business processes and procedures for the Costing (CO) module within SAP.
  • Running the month-end and year-end CO closing processes within SAP.
  • Preparing the monthly CO postings related to interdepartmental and intradepartmental transfers.
  • Preparing the annual activity rates survival kit.
  • Participating in different ERP projects, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Cross-training in other areas of CO, which can include work orders, projects, and CATS.

SALARY
Pay Range: $61,526.40 - $110,510.40 annually.
Hiring Range: $61,526.40 - $90,916.80 annually.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Four years of progressively responsible experience as a professional accountant,
  • Including some experience training and supervising paraprofessional and professional accounting personnel.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or public administration, or a related field, Master's degree in related field preferred.
  • Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certified.
  • Governmental accounting and/or finance experience.
  • Experience with various areas of cost accounting (general ledger and subsidiary ledgers).
  • Experience preparing complex financial reports and maintaining accurate accounting records.
  • Experience with cross functional teams supporting large departmental and enterprise-wide programs/projects.
  • Experience supervising or directing the work of others.
  • Experience developing department policies and procedures.
  • Experience with SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as a functional lead.
