Accountant II, Fixed Assets (Full-time Remote)

BAE Systems is seeking a Financial Accountant to work remotely for the Electronic Systems (ES) Sector. **Responsibilities of this role will include:**
+ Record complex accounting transactions including preparing and posting journal entries.
+ Perform analysis and reconciliation of general ledger account activity.
+ Support the monthly, half-year and year-end closing process, data requests and reporting requirements.
+ Serve as key liaison to the Controls team, supporting internal and external audit requirements.
+ Assist with reporting and analysis related to lease accounting in compliance with IFRS 16.
+ Participate in the development and testing of system tools to enhance accounting capabilities.
+ Ensure compliance to internal controls and seek out opportunities for continuous improvement.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor s degree and 2 years of work experience or equivalent experience.
+ Previous experience in Accounting.
+ Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse work teams.
+ Capability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers.
+ Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment.
+ Experience communicating and presenting financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner.
+ Analytical and problem solving skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $64130 - $109010
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
