A leading digital streaming network is seeking an Accountant. The successful candidate will be working on the day-to-day preparation of contractual reporting to co-production partners, third-party participants, and content owners on television shows. The ideal candidate has relevant work experience in the entertainment field. The company offers a great work environment!

Accountant Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $45
• Worksite: Leading digital streaming network (Los Angeles, CA 90038 - Hybrid, onsite Mondays and Tuesdays)
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
• 40 hours/week, 4 Month Assignment, Possibility of extension

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Reconcile statements to ledgers for accuracy.
• Reconcile data generated from various systems.
• Prepare contractual accounting statements to talent and producers.
• Adhoc Requests.

Accountant Qualifications:

• 1+ year experience in accounting (mid-level).
  
• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance.
• Relevant work experience in the entertainment field.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills are required to analyze financial data.
• Proficient in general accounting principles. Must understand and know how to read ledgers.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel (i.e.: create formulas, pivot tables and v-lookups).
• Be able to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• A self-starter and works independently with minimal supervision.
