Accountant III
The impact you'll make:
As an integral member of the Accounting Team, the Global Fixed Asset Accountant will assist with the full accounting cycle, ensuring application of sound accounting principles and practices on a global basis. Candidate must be very hands-on, detail oriented, and have strong organization and communication skills.
What you will do:
Record newly-acquired Fixed Assets, track existing Fixed Assets, record depreciation and accounting for the disposition of Fixed Assets.
Develop and document standardized global fixed asset accounting policies and procedures.
Track the compilation of project costs into Fixed Assets, and close out those projects once completed.
Run monthly fixed asset close process in Oracle.
Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to Oracle Fusion general ledger. Resolve issues proactively.
Calculate asset retirement obligations for Fixed Assets, when applicable.
Investigate potential impairment of Fixed Assets and recommend Fixed Assets that should be disposed of.
Conduct analyses related to Fixed Assets as requested by management.
Prepare audit schedules relating to Fixed Assets, and assist with audit inquiries.
Track company expenditures for Fixed Assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations.
As a Business Partner, liaise with other departments to facilitate process improvement and global growth objectives as it relates to Fixed Assets.
What we are looking for:
2+ years of fixed asset accounting experience.
Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
Must be detail oriented. Strong preference for experience with Oracle Cloud or similar ERP systems.
