Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our collaborative finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of accounting experience along with a strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP standards. This is an excellent opportunity to play an integral role in our month-end close, financial reporting and general accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed account reconciliations, variance analyses and journal entries for monthly/quarterly/annual closings
• Compile supporting schedules and documentations for financial reporting and audit purposes
• Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Perform general ledger maintenance and account analyses
• Complete routine balance sheet reconciliations and schedules (accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, etc.)
• Prepare ad-hoc reporting and analyses to support leadership decision-making
• Develop and document accounting policies, procedures and financial controls
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance processes and drive efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or audit roles
• Proficiency in U.S. GAAP accounting standards
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems
• Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail
• Solid analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related computer applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,717.54 - $76,735.10 per year
