Accountant

Job Summary

In our family owned company the Accountant provides support within a multi-location business in order to carry out day-to-day accounting activities. This role works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, and our teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities include: Review and prepare income statements and balance sheet reports. Confirm and resolve inter company balance reporting with business units. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations. Support internal and external audit processes. Post monthly sales tax payments and returns. Oversee AR/AP functions, special projects and additional duties as assigned . Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Willingness and eagerness to learn and take on new tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting including relevant internship(s) Sound written and verbal communication skills, Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and formulas, and QuickBooks.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
