AP/AR PROCESS
- Review invoices and verifies proper account allocations
- Accounts receivable-support ED's with collections
YARDI
- Set up of new communities in Yardi.
- GL Maintenance within Yardi
MONTHLY BILLING
- Generate monthly resident billing
- Run statements on the 20th of the month
- Post billing batch
- Input Annual Increases
FINANCIALS
- Create journal entries.
- Responsible for accruals, and GL reoccurring entries.
- Complete month end closing and financial reporting for senior living communities in an accurate and timely manner.
- Perform monthly close and all balance sheet reconciliations and analyses to ensure financial statement fidelity.
CASH MANAGEMENT
- Community cash management.
- Checks scanned into bank
- Enter receipts into Yardi
- Reconcile bank account and community petty cash accounts at least monthly.
BUDGET
- Monitor Yardi and Spend Down reports for budget compliance.
GENERAL
- Ensure proper controls over company assets.
- Filing of F&E taxes, sales/use tax, personal property tax returns and annual corporate filing.
- Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent information.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
3. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES
- Accounting degree or equivalent education or minimum 5 years accounting experience required. Senior Living accounting experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative
- Proficient in PC skills, accounting software, Internet based programs, MS Office Suite, especially Excel
- Previous experience with computerized Accounting systems. Yardi Software experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to follow instructions and meet strict deadlines.

4. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT
- Limited travel to job sites.
- Normal office duties, occasionally required to climb, kneel, crouch or crawl.
