Accountant

Position Summary:

EPIQORE workforce solutions has been asked by our client in Sunnyvale to search for a General Accountant. This is a temporary position for two months with a chance of extending beyond that. Our client is in the business of developing and manufacturing internet related equipment.

The primary task for this position will involve detailed financial reconciliation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Handling 401k plans and benefits
• Monitor general ledger activity to confirm accuracy and responding to changes as necessary.
• Reconcile financial accounts and create reports.
• Preparer cost reconciliation schedules.
• Assist in month-end reporting procedures.
• Coordinating and ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
• Participate and support all departmental functions.
• Prepare periodic financial statements/reports for management.
• Make recommendations for system and process improvements.
• Support team members on all accounting issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting is preferred.
• 3+ years of prior experience as General Accountant.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Team Player.
• Analytical skills, independent decision maker.
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions/recommendations to manager.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• General Accounting: 3 years (Required)
