· Keep their books up to date using ACS/Xero/QuickBooks
· Ensure Tax and BWC compliance
· Run payroll through ADP/Gusto
· Reconcile transactions/bank reconciliations
· File sales tax returns
· Prepare monthly financial statements
· File yearend tax documents
What you need to be successful in this position:
· Detail-oriented, tech savvy, with the ability to multi-task
· Ability to self-assess, think independently, and problem solve
· Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principals
· Passion to help small businesses be profitable
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
What gets you to the top of the list:
· Knowledge of accounting software- ACS, QuickBooks, and Xero
· Experience working with payroll software- ADP and Gusto
· Prior tax return experience
· Formal accounting education
· Current EA or CPA
