Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for multiple properties. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with property managers and other stakeholders to develop annual budgets and forecasts for each property. Monitor performance against budget and provide variance analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, rent collections, and tenant billing. Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.
General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger for each property, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments as needed. Ensure proper coding and classification of expenses and revenues.
Requirements in this role include 3 years of accounting experience. A background in property management accounting is preferred, but not required. The pay for this position is $55k-$75k DOE and this is a full-time, long-term opportunity. The schedule is 40 hours/week.
