Your Role:
411 Music Group is currently seeking an Account Manager who specializes in publishing, sales, production music, and sync licensing. The applicant should be able to contribute to the growth and expansion of the company, maximize revenue, and cultivate relationships with clients in film, television, advertising, video games, and new media. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively pitch 411 Music Group’s catalog in the US, UK, and Canada, ensuring its visibility and success in the respective markets.
- Proactively engage in new business outreach and lead generation to expand clientele and foster growth opportunities.
- Provide ongoing service to clientele through regular communication via phone, email, and meetings. Conduct regular pitching and outreach to maintain and strengthen existing relationships.
- Negotiate Blanket Agreements for the production music library, ensuring favorable terms and mutually beneficial arrangements.
- Field and negotiate fees for licenses and custom projects.
- Manage correspondence relating to quotes, contracts, and cataloging efficiently andprofessionally.
- Answer emails promptly and deliver music to clients on time.
- Actively participate in conferences, company meetings, and travel as required torepresent the 411 Catalog and explore new opportunities.
- Provide valuable input and suggestions for team strategy, creative initiatives, andteam-building activities.
- Assess client needs effectively and follow up on leads and deliveries to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Maintain and organize assets and agreements in designated folders on Box or other relevant platforms to ensure accessibility and efficiency.
- Track and meet client deadlines consistently to uphold professional standards and ensure client satisfaction.
- Effective, clear, and concise verbal and written communications with exceptional organization and follow-up skills.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of sales experience in the music licensing sector, demonstrating a strongability to initiate and close sales successfully.
- Established client relationships in synchronization in the US market, with a proven trackrecord of achieving sales targets. Bonus points for Canada and the UK!
- Experience negotiating and securing blanket licenses for a production music library,along with proficiency in pitching, quoting, and negotiating needledrop rates.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with existing contacts with clients such as musicsupervisors, trailer houses, ad agencies, corporate clients, videogame companies,creative executives, editors, producers, showrunners, and line producers.
- Knowledge of search engines such as SourceAudio, Disco, etc.
- Flexibility and enthusiasm to attend conferences, music events, awards shows, etc., toexpand networks and opportunities.
- Comprehensive understanding of copyright and publishing within the music industry.
- Proactive and innovative mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive results.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and CRMs.
- Punctuality and reliability in meeting commitments and deadlines, with exceptional time management skills.
Training: We will provide training to learn about the company ethos, catalog, server, search engines, etc.
Hiring Salary Range: Negotiable base salary + commission
Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, and vision.
