Account Executive - On-Premise - This position will be based in Philadelphia PA, Washington DC or Northern VA and requires regular travel within your assigned territory. Occasional travel to company sites may be required as needed.

 

Join our dynamic team at Gallo as we embark on an exciting journey to develop and manage the sale and distribution of our prestigious brands within the hospitality sector. We're looking for a passionate and innovative individual to foster relationships with regional and national on-premise hotel chains and restaurant accounts, as well as key catering accounts, through our distributor organizations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to craft business plans tailored to each account, analyze market trends to uncover new business opportunities, and lead with strong communication and presentation skills. At Gallo, we believe in fostering positive relationships not just within our team but also across our vast distributor network. You'll be at the heart of communicating program elements and ensuring the seamless coordination of activities within the winery and across the market. Managing forecasting, budgeting processes, and developing engaging programs for our internal and external business partners will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you'll have the chance to conduct sales training, including wine education, for our winery and distributor sales force, as well as for customer wait-staff. What You Will Need:

  • High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate
  • Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Gallo Affiliated Distributor, CPG sales/account management, retail or on premise sales/account management, or corporate business development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or Certificate and 10 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Gallo Affiliated Distributor, CPG sales/account management, retail or on premise sales/account management, or corporate business development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Valid driver’s license. Required to obtain a California driver’s license or appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
  • Required to obtain Liquor License as required by state/locality.
  • Required to travel by air and car to perform job duties.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What You Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Gallo Affiliated Distributor, CPG sales/account management, retail or on premise sales/account management, or corporate business development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or Certificate and 12 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Gallo Affiliated Distributor, CPG sales/account management, retail or on premise sales/account management, or corporate business development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

Compensation:

  • Hiring salary range posted: $118,600 - $178,000 / year
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
