The Account Executive will oversee all sales-related processes within given territory: responding to requests for proposals; negotiating and executing insertion orders; working with integrated marketing solutions development; working to collaborate with ad operations to oversee trafficking and campaign launches; helping to optimize performance and delivery when necessary. As an Account Executive you will be responsible for generating sales across Moguldom's portfolio of digital publishing assets and executing the company's sales strategy.
JOB EXPECTATIONS:
The Account Executive is expected to close $2M in individual business within the first year and $2.5M in the second year.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Generate new sales leads through prospecting and understanding of advertiser business challenges
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients & advertising agencies
- Effectively manage cross department internal communications
- Manage and grow existing key clients
- Actively prospect via channels such as outbound calls and emails
- Provide superior customer service to clients
- Utilize Salesforce to record all sales activity and revenue reporting
- Track, analyze and communicate performance of advertiser campaigns
- Secure strategic level relationships with senior client contacts and agency partnerships within the account list or territory region that lead to positive results in revenue
- Work with the integrated marketing team on developing creative ideas
- Work with ad trafficker to ensure campaigns are optimized and outperform client expectations
- Support video, mobile, and social media online advertising initiatives
- Conduct extensive market research on online advertising and identify relevant market trends
- Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 2 years of related work experience, ideally in the digital media industry
- A keen ability to see opportunities, understand needs, create relevant solutions, set proper expectations and close meaningful deals
- A knowledge of online media planning terms and KPIs
- Demonstrate a record of success in a fast-paced, goal-oriented sales environment
- Dynamic, flexible, hard-working attitude & ability to work well within a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
- High level of organization with strong attention to detail
- Strong multi-tasking abilities, project management and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce or other related CRM is preferred
- Knowledge of the media industry
- Ability to travel is required
