Overview:

Silver Hill Funding, LLC’s (“Silver Hill” or the “Company”) residential bridge lending business specializes in making short-term, Business Purpose loans on residential investment properties to investors that repeatedly acquire, renovate and re-sell or rent homes. The Company is seeking to expand its Client coverage team as it continues to grow its relationship-oriented, national residential bridge lender focused on providing best in-class service to its small business clients while delivering attractive risk-adjusted returns to its investors.


The Account Executive - Business Purpose Lending - Direct professional will be the primary point of contact with small business clients to originate bridge loans on residential investment properties on behalf of the Company. The AE will develop strong, direct relationships with these clients with the goal of becoming their preferred lender. They will use strong interpersonal and communications skills, independent analysis, sound judgement and decisive action to drive loan volume. The AE is responsible for business development, quality loan submissions and all aspects of their loan pipeline. All team members are expected to act as compelling representatives of the Company focused on delivering a superior client service experience.

The salary range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000 plus incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonus; however, Bayview considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, location and key skills. Person will also be eligible for excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain borrower relationships within assigned market(s) to drive loan volume.
  • Act as primary point of contact with borrowers from initial credit application to submission of loan requests to loan closing to ensure a
seamless and positive client service experience.
  • Oversee coordination of borrower onboarding, loan underwriting and loan funding functions to ensure a streamlined and efficient process.
  • Communicate credit committee decisions and loan terms to borrowers.
  • Track status and performance of borrower loan portfolios.
  • Facilitate communication between a borrower and servicing and/or asset management functions.
  • Occasional travel to assigned market(s) and new investor training classes to meet in person with clients.
  • Develop and manage junior team members, e.g. Loan Associates / Analysts.
Qualifications:
  • Deep knowledge of residential real estate and mortgage lending.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships.
  • Proven ability to sell.
  • Sound business judgement.
  • Highly communicative with, and highly responsive to client requests / inquires.
  • Strong understanding of real estate risk with ability to apply to local markets/submarkets.
  • Strong credit skills, broad product knowledge and a demonstrable ability to manage and close a large volume of loan requests.
  • Competency in reading, analyzing and interpreting financial and legal documents.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills; ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize and follow through on borrower credit and loan requests.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; multidisciplinary project skills.

  • Proven strategic agility and stretch; can easily assume wider and more complex tasks and initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced organization.
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently; open to direction and collaborative work style.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. MBA or other advanced degree desirable.
  • 4-10 years of prior experience in the residential or business-purpose mortgage business.
