Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member

Position Overview
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Hybrid Remote/ In Office- Maplewood NJ

Responsibilities

• Assisting Account Manager on sales and service activities such as "onboarding" new policyholders.
• Working with Account Manager on developing new sources of referrals including but not limited to planning/ attending local community events in order to develop and deepen community relationships
• Quoting and binding new insurance products
• Assisting policyholders with service requests including policy changes, billing questions & taking payments.
• Handle office financial deposit, mail & meet with customers when needed in the office.
• Social media input

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Positive, outgoing, team-player
• Self-motivated
• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Ability to make presentations to potential customers
• Bilingual - Spanish
• Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
• Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
• Must be able to reliability get to and from Maplewood office when needed
