Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Accessibilty Specialist/ Sales Representitive to join our team. The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business, managing key accounts, and driving sales growth. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment.
Responsibilities:
- IDENTIFIES CURRENT AND FUTURE CUSTOMER SERVICE REQUIREMENTS
-By establishing rapport with potential and actual customers; establishing relationships with architects, builders and construction companies.
- PROVIDES PRODUCT, SERVICE, EQUIPMENT OR TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- By answering questions and requests; keeping up-to-date with all code guidelines pertaining to Adaptive Environments equipment.
- ESTABLISHES NEW ACCOUNTS AND SERVICES
-By identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
- PREPARES COST ESTIMATES, QUOTES AND BIDS
- By studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with professional and technical personnel; placing quotes/bids based on accepted profit margins as defined by Administration; establishing timelines based upon staffing. •
- DETERMINES IMPROVEMENTS
- By analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment; proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
- GAINS CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE
- By explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
- SUBMITS ORDERS
- By conferring with office support staff; performing evaluations; measuring staircases and shafts to ensure accurate measurements and specifications are accurate.
- COMPLIES WITH FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
- By studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; advising customer on product, service, or equipment adherence to requirements; advising customer on needed actions.
- PREPARES REPORTS
- By collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and application trends; completing order forms.
- MAINTAINS PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
-By attending educational workshops.
