- Certified teacher will be given first priority.
- College degree required.
- Teacher certification and experience working in public schools preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Capable of working with confidential materials and maintaining the highest discretion.
- Ability to provide academic assistance to students.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee Academic Recovery Lab to track student progress on the online curriculum
- Collaborate with teachers to design content recovery and/or credit recovery plan
- Assign courses/units of study through Edgenuity for content and/or credit recovery
- Provide instructional intervention for students working to recovery content/credit
- Communicate with parents and teachers on a weekly basis to make them aware of student's progress
- Notify parents/guardian if student is absent or not maintaining progress
- Collaborate with guidance department to monitor attendance and tardies of all students
- Develop interventions for students attendance/tardy concerns
- Assist with supervision of all students before, during and after school
- Performs other duties as assigned by the principal
