The Key Program is currently seeking an Academic and Behavioral Interventionist (ABI) to work with adolescent males and females in group home programs located in Greenfield, MA.

The Academic and Behavioral Interventionist primarily works Sunday – Thursday in our 9 bed Emergency Residence and Intensive Treatment Residence with clients ages 7-18. Hours may vary pending program needs but will typically include 3 days of first shift (6:00am-3:00pm/7:00am-4:00pm) and two days of second shift (2:00pm-11:00pm) to facilitate and supervise evening programming, homework help, and have a great sense of program functioning.

The Academic and Behavioral Interventionist will facilitate and supervise client morning routines including medication administration, help get children to school, and then provide structured academic support to children without a current school placement. The person will need to be skilled in behavioral support and tutoring children in basic math, language arts, and current events. The individual will also be responsible for communication with school personnel, acquiring grades, visiting schools in person, etc. to obtain updates regarding clients and their academic performance.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred OR Associates degree OR college coursework and one year of human service experience, OR High school diploma or GED/HiSET with two years of human service experience, required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid state driver’s license and legally registered and insured car for work use

Wage/Salary & Benefits Include:

  • Hourly wage: $25.25 per hour
