Stock, maintain and prepare for distribution the alcoholic liquors maintained by the state for the 181 retail liquor outlets in the state. Pull cases of liquor according to a pick sheet building a pallet of stock to be shipped to a specific retail liquor outlet. Employee uses forklifts, hand trucks, motorized hand trucks, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, service carts etc. to choose, stack, move, and prepare cases of liquor for shipment. An emphasis is placed on building a stable pallet in order to minimize damage to the product. Receiving of inbound product and transitioning it to the proper storage place in the distribution center. Operating shrink wrap machine in order to stabilize pallets of product for placement on trucks for shipping of product. Perform general maintenance on equipment such as checking fluid levels, ensuring batteries are charged etc. Maintaining cleanliness of work area; including rotation of stock as required. The ideal candidate is able to physically lift the product as well as sustain the taxing environment of the warehouse and at the same time handle the delicate glass cases to prevent breakage and pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy of the order. The workers at the WVABCA Distribution Center are responsible for ensuring the alcoholic liquors received from the distilleries and distributors are prepared for delivery to the retail liquor outlets throughout the state.

Training: High school diploma or the equivalent.
AND
Experience: One (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in operating forklift, pallet jack or similar equipment and/or experience in a warehouse environment.
AND
Special Requirement: Must have a valid Driver's License.
