ABA Therapy Medical Billing

Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing
- Verify patient insurance coverage and process claims for reimbursement
- Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation for billing purposes
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials, and initiate appeals if necessary
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely billing

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health Medical Billing or coding
- Proficiency in medical terminology, Medical Billing systems, and electronic health records (EHR)
- Familiarity with medical collection practices and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes

Skills:
- Proficient in CentralReach
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses
- Experience with Medical Billing systems and electronic health records (EHR)
- Familiarity with medical records coding guidelines and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
