Summary/Objective
The ABA Therapist / RBT works in home with children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities. Behavior Therapists implement protocols, take reliable data, and work closely with members of the client’s team.

Essential Functions

- Work 1-1 with clients following individualized ABA treatment plans for children/adults with autism in the home settings.
- Teach clients to acquire language, academic, social, and self-help skills under the supervision of a BCBA treatment plan.
- Implement programs and skills that are centered around helping the client reach their full potential Assist in creating new client projects and materials.
- Provide the client’s families with parent training to expand the client’s advancement opportunities. Have ongoing support and supervision in the field by BCBA level staff.
- Assists in designing and implementing behavior analytic programming as it relates to “ABA-Verbal Behavior” skill acquisition and behavior management programming.
- Assists in creating, developing, and monitoring individualized programming.
- Maintains reliable and consistent schedules with families.
- Ensures requirements for documentation of clinical services are implemented.
- Adherence to BACB guidelines for ethical conduct.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
(Teachers, Direct Support Professionals, tutors, after school volunteers, etc. All encouraged to apply!)
- 1+ years’ previous experience working with children with developmental disabilities or behavioral issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in an ABA related field.
- Excellent time management skills with experience managing a caseload.
- Experience in Functional Assessment Protocols and Behavior.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to providing quality behavior analytic programming.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated to teach and learn more about Applied Behavior Analysis.

Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally sit. The employee may be required to squat, stoop, kneel, reach above the head, reach forward and use hand strength to grasp. The employee will frequently bend, twist at the neck and trunk more than the average person while performing the duties of this job, etc..
